Welcome Showcase visitors and members. I have added some new features to Modern Author Showcase; for example, there is now a comment feature anyone can use. At the bottom of each article, there is a hyperlink to add your two-cents even if you are just a visitor. I have also added a hit-counter that shows which articles are most read. We have four new members this month—welcome aboard! We look forward to being acquainted with you and your work. Jump right in and tell us who you are and what you do. Site News David Farland is visiting China this month working on movies. The Daily Kick in the Pants is still coming, now that is dedication! Dave and friends, Kevin J. The economy is crashing and many businesses are fading fast--Let's do our part to save ours! Below is one suggestion made by Roy Blount, Jr. President of Author's Guild: I've been talking to booksellers lately who report that times are hard. And local booksellers aren't known for vast reserves of capital, so a serious dip in sales can be devastating. Booksellers don't lose enough money, however, to receive congressional attention.
